McDonald's experienced an initial drop from 841 downloads at the start of the quarter to 414 in the second week. However, there was a significant rebound mid-quarter, peaking at 932 downloads in mid-February. The app ended the quarter with a modest increase to 685 downloads.
Texas Chicken saw a sharp decline in downloads from 1.1K at the start to just 51 by the end of March. The most notable drop occurred between January 27 and March 3, where downloads fell from 225 to 43.
